Craft City

This relatively simple collective project commemorates what people called the “craft revolution.” In the early 2010s, new trends reached even cities outside the capitals. Craft coffee shops and craft pubs partly replaced old-fashioned cafés and bars. At Fototropa, we were interested not only in documenting these new interiors, but also in following the people who visited them beyond these crafted spaces. They lived their lives through games and experiments, without knowing how the pandemic and the war would change everything.
